Our Mission
At A Heart for Rudy, our mission is to provide essential services and support to individuals and families in need. We strive to empower those we serve to achieve self-sufficiency and improve their overall quality of life.
Background
This organization was established in memory of Rodolfo "Rudy" Martinez by his mother. Rudy tragically lost his life to a fentanyl overdose and was discovered on a sidewalk in Fullerton, CA, on December 19, 2023. Deeply impacted by this devastating loss, the family is committed to finding a better way to honor Rudy's memory and prevent similar tragedies.
Our Purpose
Our purpose is to provide care and compassion to individuals with substance abuse disorders and homelessness, as well as their families. We accomplish this by offering food and clothing through community outreach or events, facilitating communication between the person with an addiction and their families, and providing access to necessary resources.
