Background
This organization was established in memory of Rodolfo "Rudy" Martinez by his mother. Rudy tragically lost his life to a fentanyl overdose and was discovered on a sidewalk in Fullerton, CA, on December 19, 2023. Deeply impacted by this devastating loss, the family is committed to finding a better way to honor Rudy's memory and prevent similar tragedies.
Our Mission
At A Heart for Rudy, our nonprofit organization's mission is to provide support and resources to individuals and families affected by addiction and homelessness. We are dedicated to offering a safe and supportive environment where individuals can access rehabilitation services, counseling, and housing assistance and be a liaison between individuals and families. We aim to empower those in need to overcome their challenges, regain stability, and reintegrate into society. Additionally, we are committed to providing educational programs and outreach to raise awareness and reduce the stigma surrounding addiction and homelessness. Our efforts aim to restore hope and create a brighter future for those we serve.
